From a young age, I knew interior design was my calling. I was lucky to grow up surrounded by beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces thanks to my mom, who bought and sold antiques. That early exposure gave me an eye for elegance, character, and the unexpected—qualities that still inspire my work today.
I went on to study Interior Design at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) where I honed my skills and passion for transforming spaces. For me, design is deeply personal—it's about bringing a client’s style, comfort, and vision to life in every corner of their home.
After college, I settled in Mobile, AL, where my love for design grew even deeper. I had the incredible opportunity to learn firsthand from the talented Cait Waite. Over the next three years, I gained invaluable experience working on a wide range of projects. Then, with a full heart and a leap of faith, Tatum Bailey Designs was born!
Today, Tatum Bailey Designs offers space planning, interior styling, and sourcing of soft furnishings. I’m so excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share this journey with you. Follow along—there’s so much more to come!
